Corporate

Often times, Directors find themselves in situations with seemingly no light at the end of the tunnel. In times like these, everyone needs someone in their corner who understands the practicalities of the insolvency process and who is looking out for their best interests.

That is why Griffin Solvency Solutions was created. My initial consultation is at no charge, which allows me to understand the whole picture and how a potential corporate insolvency impacts each personal situation - including if the family home is exposed and if I can help protect it.

Once I understand your unique situation, I work towards implementing a controlled and organised strategy for achieving the best possible outcome. While this may seem daunting and stressful at the time, by working together the goal is to eliminate the uncertainty and questions.

Corporate insolvency events can take on various forms. I am able to assist my clients with:

Creditor negotiations

Sometimes corporate insolvencies can be avoided with commercial negotiations with suppliers or other third parties who are owed money. These matters can be settled without the need for expensive legal bills.

bank negotiations

In general, banks are open to commercial settlements when approached in the appropriate way. I have extensive experience in negotiating with secured lenders to get the best outcomes for clients.

Corporate Restructures

A corporate restructure can be a good way to provide continuity to a business when an adverse event occurs. Restructures must be undertaken as a commercial transaction and make sense for the business moving forward.

Liquidations

The appointment of a liquidator is a daunting and complex process for directors. I act for you in this process managing it every step of the way, from reviewing the potential personal implications to liaising with a Liquidator on your behalf.

Voluntary Administrations

The voluntary administration process is a good alternative to liquidation when a Company is fundamentally viable and can present a formal offer to creditors via the insolvency framework. Voluntary Administrations require a controlled and organised approach which we can assist with.

In house business advisory
& turnaround management

We can provide in house development and management of strategies to assist in the turnaround of your business. This process often takes a substantial amount of time and requires a detailed review of your financials and systems prior to engagement.

The key to achieving the best outcome in any situation is to act proactively and seek advice early, even if it is simply a plan B. Waiting until the bank is about to step in, or ATO knocking on the door, will limit the available options.

If your situation doesn’t sound like one of the above, you’ll find a solution within personal services.
