Having worked for liquidators and bankruptcy trustees in my career, I spent several years working on a wide variety of insolvency events, from large corporate entities to individual bankruptcies. I've a in depth understanding of the Corporation and Bankruptcy acts and know how to navigate the insolvency framework.
During this time, I recognised that people experiencing financial distress or insolvency events are ill-equipped to deal with these stressful situations alone. They need direct honest advice which I was unable to be give as a liquidator or bankruptcy trustee. My role was to act impartially and in the interests of creditors. I often witnessed incomplete, inaccurate, illegal and costly advice being given where ultimately, the proposed course of action caused more harm than good.
As a result, Griffin Solvency Solutions was created. The goal being to provide honest, direct advice and assistance to anyone experiencing an adverse financial situation or potential insolvency event. With my focus on providing support to directors or individuals through the entire process. My clients are not just another number on the books and I take pride in seeing positive outcomes and an improved quality of life.
